Join us for a special "Christmas Twilight Train" as you steam through the Beautiful Mary Valley and join the "Dagun Community Group" Christmas party and festivities at Dagun Station before returning to Gympie. "Merry Christmas" to you and your family from our Team at the Mary Valley Rattler!

The Historic Gympie Station on Tozer Street, has been restored to its former glory. Make sure you arrive early enough to take time to wander through the Station where you will learn the stories of the Mary Valley Rattler line, its people and its history.

The gift shop offers a selection of local goodies as well as speciality giftware and souvenirs. Take home your own piece of The Mary Valley Rattler!

The quaint community of Dagun is a delightful historic town, here you can watch the fascinating process of the turning of the engine on the turntable. 

Come and enjoy christmas at Dagun. Entertainment offerings are:

* Four food trucks will be available and lots of lollies for Santa to hand out to the kids.

In addition there is a café and local shop offerings in Amamoor.

Children under 2 years of age not occupying a seat travel free, however if you would like a guaranteed seat for your child under 2, please book as a child fare. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please ensure you note all children travelling under 2 at time of booking.
