VIP Booth & Lunch - Departs Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday Gympie to Amamoor (Return)

Experience a unique journey aboard the Mary Valley Rattler with exclusive perks! Your group of at least 4 guests will have an allocated booth for a comfortable ride on the 40km journey through the picturesque Mary Valley to the charming town of Amamoor along with a meet and greet with the train driver and priority preboarding.

Upon arrival in Amamoor, witness the train's preparation for the return journey via the turntable and take some time to explore the town. Onboard, your personal attendant will serve you a delicious local tasting plate. Bar facilities are also available through your Club Car attendant.

Additionally, enjoy your choice of any lunch item from the "VIP Set Menu" along with a beverage of your choice in Rusty Rails Café when you return to the Historic Gympie Station.

Please indicate your meal preferences (Main & Dessert) on the next page (1 selection per passenger) along with your beverage choice.

Tips for the trip!

Check in at the Tour Desk at least 45 minutes before departure so you can see the train pull into the station, chat with the volunteer drivers and guides, explore the Historic Gympie Station and enjoy the treats in our cabinet at the Rusty Rails Café. Make sure you bring your camera!  Depending on the direction of the train guests will be travelling backwards for one direction of the trip. Please note: This carriage is not wheelchair accessible.

Please note- A $20.00 or $50.00 donation option is available, this donation supports the restoration of our many carriages. We appreciate your generosity in donating to the sustainability of The Mary Valley Rattlers Heritage Fleet. 

Booking Notes

-  If you are travelling with another party on a different booking,
please note this in special requirements at time of booking by entering
"Travelling with...." to assist us in seating you together.

-   Children under 16 years of age must be
accompanied by a paying adult. 

-   Children under 2 years of age not occupying a
seat travel free, however if you would like a guaranteed seat for your
child under 2, please book as a fare. Please ensure you note all children
travelling under 2 at time of booking.
