Step right up, folks, come dressed to impress, get your cowboy on and hop onboard the wildest ride this side of the tracks! Introducing the “Great Gympie Gold Heist,” where the Old West meets one of Queensland’s most iconic heritage steam train experiences, in a thrilling train adventure like no other. 

Picture this-you’re chugging along, enjoying the magical scenery of the Mary Valley, when suddenly, the train is overrun by bandits! But fear not, these aren’t your ordinary outlaws- they’re here to entertain, interact, and maybe even snag a nugget or two of your laughter. Dress the part, hold onto your valuables, and get ready for a tootin’ train robbery extravaganza that’ll leave you shouting “Yee-haw!"

On arrival in the quaint town of Amamoor, you can disembark your carriage where you'll be greeted for a photo opportunity with the cast before making your way to the viewing area to watch the train engine as it turns on the turntable.  Enjoy a short stay to explore the Amamoor Village Green before reboarding your assigned carriage for your return journey to the Gympie Station.
